Well, here's the way I'm understanding it. FUNi isn't dropping the series officially, but they'll only dub some of it when they have some extra profits lying around. So basically, instead of trying to find an audience and increase sales, Conan has now become FUNi's "we'll dub it when we feel like it" series. If this proves to be true, then Conan's just going to keep failing and failing. Regardless of how long or short a series is, you can't give it an indefinite schedule and expect people to stay interested. Sure, hardcore fans with internet access will stay informed, but the series needs the power of mainstream attention, which it can't get if it's getting a release "every once in a while." Conan's no One Piece, it seems.
