We have "a-hol" in the word censor list for some strange reason, and we apparently can't remove it. It's crazy, especially since that's not even how you spell it. I'll fix it in your post.

You have a very good point, Rinny. It's too late for me to watch anything right now, but I hope it's working by tomorrow because I REALLY would hate to watch it on an unofficial site.

I paused the video right before a ad (I didn't know there randomly in the videos now) and it froze

I've relayed the One Piece ep 424 errors to our video team.  Thanks for the reports.

When reporting errors, please reference the video FAQ and include
  • Operating system,
  • browser and version
  • flash version
  • any plug-ins or toolbars you have installed.
If you find that a video is stuck at a certain time, please try refreshing the page, viewing it on a different browser, or visiting it at a different time before reporting the error.

Again, if you would like to go a step further and give us some detailed input, you can send an email with the following information to feedback@funimation.com.

1. Internet connection and speed - test at http://speedtest.net/ and post your results
2. IP address of computer experiencing issue  - visit http://www.whatismyip.com
3. Specific episodes error is occurring  and link to video
4. Browser and Flash versions
5. Specific explanation of the error that occurred
6. Any additional information, such as firewall used, blocked ports or if using a college's internet connection
7. Run a Traceroute to fms.0D9C.edgecastcdn.net –

To run a traceroute with Windows XP

   1. From the start menu, select PROGRAMS, then ACCESSORIES then COMMAND PROMPT.
   2. At the command prompt, type ‘tracert fms.0D9C.edgecastcdn.net’
   3. Press ENTER.

The traceroute will check each hop used to get to the destination URL and display up to three numbers for each hop. These represent the time in milliseconds that it took to reach that particular router three separate times. Sometimes a hop will not respond, in which case the traceroute will say "Request timed out." Once the trace is complete it will say "Trace complete."

Once your trace is complete, copy the results of your traceroute and attach it to your support ticket or email it to the tech support team member you are working with.

   1. Right-click on the top (header) of the command prompt window.
   2. Select EDIT and then SELECT ALL.
   3. Right-click again on the header of the command prompt window.
   4. Select EDIT and then COPY.
   5. Open a text editor like Notepad or Wordpad, right-click and select PASTE. OR you can paste this information in an e-mail.
   6. Save the text file as a .txt file.

Seriously? These videos should be tested when put up, especially for videos you guys know are gonna get a massive amount of viewers. I use a lot of commercial video websites without problems like this, and it's rather frustrating. This is especially concerning because you guys work within an hour when somebody steal from your website, but apparently it takes days to help the fans trying to watch this legally. :/

Here here.  Funimation has the chance to seriously cut down on the number of fansubs out there and to revive the anime industry, but if they can't get this right, people are going to start flocking back to torrents.  At some point the viewer base will give in if Funi isn't reliable.

browser - Internet Explorer 8
flash - 10 (the recent)

The videos themselves have gotten more worse.

Like with One Piece, the episode would play like normal. But like 20 or so seconds into the episode. It gets cut off. This isn't the case with Hulu, Joost or Youtube.

It was fine in the day when I would be able to see Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood. But now, the episodes just gets cut off.

Exactly this! I don't fansub personally, cause I'm trying to respect and support OP in the USA as much as possible, but the truth is a lot of people will if the Funi videos aren't working in a timely manner. :(

Looks like I'm not the only one with the issue hopefully it gets fixed soon as I actually like the streaming quality on funimation. I couldn't wait so I watched it streaming on another site already. I hope this gets fixed sooner rather than later b/c I'd like to watch it again.

I'm having an issue playing One Piece 424, which just came out it plays about 3-4 seconds of the intro and just freezes. Anybody else experiencing this? It doesn't matter how many times I refresh this episodes I can't get any further.

1. 15.84 Mbps
2. 72.183.112.99
3. One Pience 424
4. IE 8.0.7600.16385, Flash 10.0.32.18
5. It freezes 3-4 seconds into playing the video. I've tried from the video link and the direct url.
6. Default FW settings on Win 7 Ultimate. I'm running MS Security Essentials as my Anti-Virus app.
7. done and can be provided.

Same thing here. Every time I try to watch One Piece 424 it won't go past the 3 second mark, I've been trying to watch it at different times since Sunday night.

Still not working? I honestly can't imagine it takes DAYS to fix one video. For me it's still the same. Won't go past the 1 second mark.

Oh it's great fun watching a bunch of stars and bubbles float to the middle! =D

I don't know if it's related to the One Piece problem others are talking about, but I've tried yesterday evening and this evening to watch Captain Harlock and none of the episodes are working.  Are all the shows down (Harlock is all I watch here)?

Thank you everyone at Funimation for making such a service available. I truly hope you all see how important these videos are to the Anime industry and why we all seem a bit heated without our [Insert Favorite Anime] Fix.

The issue I am reporting is in regards to One Piece Episode 424 (The most recent one posted). I have tested the video from multiple locations, using multiple browsers, multiple internet connections and multiple operating systems. This issue has nothing to do with the client side of things.  The video will stop playing after the 1 second mark. Refreshing the page does nothing, changing browsers does nothing, changing internet connections does nothing. For your convienance I have the following.

OS: Microsoft Windows XP SP2, Microsoft Windows SP3, Microsoft Windows 7
FLASH: Adobe Flash Version 9, Adobe Flash Version 10

1. 8 Mbps (My home: Wide Open West connection) and 16 Mbps (Corporate network)
2. 24.192.***.*** and 173.10.***.***
3. One Piece EP 242: http://www.onepieceofficial.com/videos.aspx?v=2974
4. IE7, IE8, Firefox 3.5.3, Firefox 3.5.4
5. Video stops playing and does not resume play after 1 SECOND into video
6. Both connections are open and do not have any blocked ports

7.
