Movie 8: "Broly: The Legendary Super Saiyan"

("Burn Up!! Hot Fight, Fierce Fight, Super Violent Fight" in Japan)

(Released to Japanese theaters on 03/06/93)

Timeline: 10-days before the Cell Games

While at a hanami picnic, during a painful singing session courtesy of Krillin, a massive ship arrived. Out came Paragus, one of the few surviving Saiyans. He invited Vegeta to rule a new Planet Vegeta. Vegeta initially refused until Paragus appealed to Vegeta's ego by asking him to kill the Legendary Super Saiyan that had completely destroyed the south galaxy.

Movie 10: "Broly: Second Coming"

("A Pair in Peril! Super-Warriors Cannot Rest" in Japan)

(Released to Japanese theaters on 03/12/94)

Timeline: Prior to the Tournament Saga

The film opens with a Saiyan Spacepod flying through space and crash-landing on Earth. The crash causes a small crater to appear, and a seriously injured, barely alive Super Saiyan crawls out: Broly, the Legendary Super Saiyan himself!! As the weather gets colder, Broly's power decreases, and he reverts back to his original Super Saiyan state, until he finally loses consciousness and turns back into a normal Saiyan. Water pours over him, and freezes, trapping the sleeping Broly and preserving him.

Movie 11: "Bio-Broly"

("Superwarriors Crushed!! I Will Be the One Who Wins" in Japan)

(Released to Japanese theaters on 07/03/94)

Timeline: Mid-Babidi Saga?

The film opens with a group of strangely colored humanoids emerging from tanks in a laboratory. The scientists responsible for these creations are congratulated by their employer, Mr. Jaguar, who plans to make these "Bio-Humans" into the strongest fighters on Earth. Despite warnings from his cousin, Men-Men, Jaguar laughs maniacally as one of his not-yet-finished bio-humans wags his furry tail in his tank.

Bio Broly never gets its fair due from most fans.

It's a crime, really, considering it's better than the first Broli film.

I'd personally have to disagree. Even though I'm not a Broly nut, nor the type of fan that just outright hates on Bio-Broly, it is my least favorite of the Broly films, and one of my least favorites of the films overall. That and the first Broly film really is one of my favorites...I don't know why. Wait, I know! It's cuz Broly is teh ultimate right! RIGHT!?

J-just kidding. Anyway, I really do like the first Broly movie the best out of the trilogy. It's one of the few to add at least a little emotional depth to any of the characters, even if it is a villain who is pretty well off-his-rocker. I think the main reason Bio-Broly is my least favorite is just cuz it's the 3rd one, by which point I'm going 'Uh...seriously? Again with the Broly?' I'm pretty indifferent to the second one, other than some illogical parts of it. But, being a DB movie, it's not like that's a major crime.

The first and second ones were pretty enjoyable.... the third not so much

I like to be able to enjoy Broly's insane ranting and screaming of "KAKAROOOOOTTTT!"

Bio-Broly didn't work for me because the piece of sludge was just a poor knock-off of the original. I felt it wasn't really Broly.

the z fighters get there asses handed to them for like an hour

and then all of a sudden they give all there energy to goku

and he beats him in one punch

this is my least favorite movie out of all of them

i do not like brolly

the second coming is my favorite brolly movie, and the ending is way better then the first movie ended

with gohan and goten and goku shooting a kamehamaha wave that was awesome

the third one was ok but not as good as the second

plus i like chibi goten and trunks they are hillarious, and they get a bit of action in the second movie which i thought was cool, and trunks pees on brolly ( i almost lost it when that happened) hahaha

I like the first two broly movies better than bio-broly. I kinda wanted to see him not a mutated pile of goo. I feel he could have done alot more damage in the third movie...

Why dont people like broly? His power is maximum.

lol. Personally, if Broly had ended after the first movie, he would have been a decent villain. But they dragged him out into another movie. Then, when that wasnt enough, they made lame biobroly (which is enjoyable until broly is actually in the movie).

Bio Broly never gets its fair due from most fans.

If most fans don't like the movie then it is getting its fair due. Personally I thought it was the worst movie so thats what I tell people. If you liked it then tell people you did, but I'm not going to say it was good when I thought it was not.
