Status: offline 		i live in the u.k and eventually want to get dragonball season 1 and are a bit upset about it being region 1 so i can't watch it on my xbox or t.v.

you can always get a region-free dvd player

Status: offline 		It's because Japan is Region 2 as well, and considering FUNi's release is WAY cheaper than the Japanese discs, Toei probably doesn't want Japanese fans importing and not buying their own releases.

Status: offline 		True, but I'm not British so I don't have to worry about a multi-region player! The only time when I considered getting one was before Funimation's new DB season sets have been announced, and I was going to import the Madman sets.

Status: offline 		On mine, you have to change the region coding on the computer itself, which you can only do a limited number of times.

So that's not an end-all solution, unless of course you decide to permanently change it and stick with the change.

Status: offline 		there's no such thing as a region free tv. You need to either buy a region free dvd player, or theres a possibility that you can do it like you said, by remote. It all depends on the brand of your dvd player.

Status: offline 		it always says funi's dragonball dvds are region 1 on the net, but they are actually 1,2 and 4. at least the dragonball z and gt ones were. someone from the U.S should check the box
