Hey I'm Canadian, and I only have one channel that supplies anime, which is YTV, and YTV used to air One Piece, and they air a lot of Funimation shows, so I was wondering if anyone knows if YTV will have the redub of One Piece.

I would just enjoy it more if I watched it on tv when if first comes out..

I haven't heard anything yet in regards to One Piece returning to broadcast in Canada.

Remember though that by Candian government regulations, Canadian TV has a lot of restrictions based upon stuff broadcast on their channels. That a certain percentage of a show has to be worked on by Canadians (this is why alot of American TV shows now shoot/film on location in Canada (XFiles, Supernatural, Smallville, etc.). While channels are allowed to air a very specific amount of content that doesn't have the pre-requisite Canadian staff/crew working on it, it's a small percentage they have to weigh against a bunch of other things they also want to broadcast.

I'd suggest making your voice heard as a Canadian fan that you want One Piece on YTV, directly to YTV. :)

Also, I know that the original dub of OP left such a sour taste in the mouths of fans, that I can't help but wonder if YTV is looking to see how FUNi's version does on CN first.

Thanks, because I know TYV is similar to Toonami, example is just a few weeks ago they had a naruto marathon and Toonami is showing the same marathon in a few weeks, with same episodes, so I thought that they should both have One Piece aswell.
